On Saturday, August 29, Love OKC will sponsor an event at the Fairgrounds that will serve families in tender economic situations. Close to 15,000 families will be welcome to eat lunch, receive haircuts and medical screenings, play in the Kid Zone, and have family protraits taken. Every family will be given groceries to take home and access to community resources. If you are 16 or older, you may volunteer at this event without supervision. If you are younger than 16, you may participate with an adult. You will need to arrive at 7 am for an organizational meeting and training.
