The Myriad Botanical Gardens will host their Fall Fundraiser this year from October 9 to 25. They will turn their Children's Garden into a magical Fall Festival space with a pumpkin patch and a display of 6000 pumpkins and fall decorations. They need volunteers to greet people, hand out water, do face painting, paint pumpkins, and run other activities for children. There are various volunteer shifts available for the duration of the event, but there are also set up options from October 5 to 8 or tear down options from October 28 to 30. You will need to commit to attending one of three training sessions (Saturday, October 3rd from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. or Thursday, October 8, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.) Training will be held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Crystal Bridge. You may earn Community Service for attending the training and for volunteering.
