The Jason C. Wagner Foundation was established in 2008 in honor of Jason, father of Jack Wagner '19, who passed away from a sudden heart attack in 2005. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to award college scholarships to graduating high school seniors who, in the Foundation’s view, most exemplify the characteristics Jason had in life: integrity, intelligence and kindness. Many of their recipients have been from households below the poverty level and thus far, all of them have completed their ungraduate studies. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $81,000 in college scholarships. The Foundation’s annual golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 30 and they are asking for volunteers to help with registration and various activities on the course during the tournament.
