Positive Tomorrows is a private, tuition free elementary school that serves homeless children in Kindergarten through grade 5. The mission of this school for transient families is to remove the barriers that stand in the way of learning for these children; they provide hungry children with food, allow them to sleep if they had nowhere to sleep the night before, and give them access to necessities like soap and water. You may volunteer alone if you are a senior. They need volunteers for their Winter Break Camp from December 16 to 23 from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm. On December 18 from 5-7 pm, you can help wrap gifts or provide childcare while parents "shop" for holiday gifts. Please contact Saundra Ogden at (405) 556-5082 or visit the school website at www.positivetomorrows.org for more information.
