Opportunity: Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience based-curriculum which creatively integrates running." As they prepare for the 5K, they ask students to volunteer to create the "One in a Million" station for the race or roll t-shirts at 720 W. Wilshire Blvd between 11 am to 4 pm on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16. They also seek volunteers for many fun jobs at the race from 7:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, May 30. Please note: Volunteers from this spring 5K will get the first invitations to serve on their Teen Board this Fall.
