Jack McMahan is a quadriplegic who is working on a funded project at Martin Nature Park entitled "Wildreness Matters.". "The Martin Nature Park project is intended to preserve the ecological advantages of the area while expanding access to its natural experiences – including feelings, sights, sounds – to people with disabilities" and Mr. McMahan is working to make trails accessible to everyone. He needs assistance taking basic measurements (slope, cross slope, width) since he is unable to do so himself. This a once in a lifetime chance to learn about municipal projects, accessibility, and construction. This project will benefit so many people in our community! Mr. McMahan is flexible with times and dates and can work around your availability, so please contact him at jack@wildernessmatters.org to volunteer or call (4050) 664-4452. Questions? See Mrs. Brown.
